– ROD SEAL :-

The rod seal is the most critical seal on any type of fluid power equipment preventing leakage of fluid from within the cylinder to the outside.
– STEP SEAL :-

It has a special filled PTFE ring with a pre-loaded lip energised by an O ring. The special PTFE ring has the low frictional properties normally associated with this material but is strengthened by additives to reduce creep. … It has a low breakout friction so stick-slip is eliminated.
– WEAR RING :-

The function of the wear ring is to help keep the piston centered, which allows for even wear and pressure distribution on the seals. Popular wear ring materials include KasPex™ PEEK, glass filled nylon, bronze reinforced PTFE, glass reinforced PTF, and phenolic. Wear rings are used in both piston and rod applications.
– PISTON SEAL :-

Piston seals are used to create a seal between the piston and the cylinder bore, preventing leakage of hydraulic fluid or air. This seal is internal to the cylinder and allows pressure to be maintained on one side of the piston, creating the force to move it back and forth.
– BUFFER SEAL :-

Buffer seals are commonly used in combination with another rod or piston seal, typically a U-cup style seal. Buffer seals in rod applications are designed to absorb pressure fluctuations when working under high-load conditions, this increases the lifespan of a rod seal.
